Line switches are devices installed in transmission lines with the primary function of isolating a faulted line section following an outage. Thus, line switches are important assets to enhance the resilience of the grid. This project aims to support utilities in reducing maintenance costs and maximizing the reliability of line switches by providing tools and information for design, testing, installation, inspection, assessment, and troubleshooting.
