• Many utilites are adopting analysis based decision process to manage asset lifecycle amidst challenges posed by aging infrastructure, financial constraints, retiring expertise etc. However the data and analytical approaches required to meet this goal are not firmly established.

• Research in this program intends to develop analytical tools and new asset knowledge enablers, such as failure rates to help utilities make better lifecycle decisions.

• Research results are transferred to members through scientific reports, easy to use software and data science techniques, reference guides, webcasts and workshops.
