Planned Tasks and Updates

The SSR project is unique and brings its own challenges. Familiar tasks are repeated annually, like the reoccurring meetings and development of the resource guide (aka the Black Book). New areas of R&D are explored based on feedback from the participants including “A Day in the Life” which is a first-person video documentation, capturing the experiences of various crew members, to bridge the knowledge gap between field operations and control room procedures.

Annual Workshop

For over a quarter of a century, the SSR project has been hosting an annual conference to bring interested parties together for discussions on a myriad of topics.

The 28th Annual EPRI Switching Safety and Reliability Workshop will be held in Houston, Texas on September 30 – October 3, 2024, at C. Baldwin Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton.

This event is open to all EPRI members (a registration fee applies to non-project funders) and we hope you can join us. More information, including the link to register for the conference, will be provided above in the Calendar or Events section when it becomes available.
