Quick Update Video: Robot for Security in Lenox - 2022

Planned 2023 Tasks and Updates

The R&D tasks performed in this project change over time. Certain tasks are included each year, and sometimes new areas are explored based on feedback from the project stakeholders as older topics are discontinued. Recent tasks in the last few years have included topics such as the development of a substations field guide, and a primer on the use of facial recognition.

Project focus areas for 2023 include:

  • Ballistics
  • Sensors
  • Drones and counter-drone
  • IEMI

Request for Samples

The project is always interested in getting samples of equipment for additional testing and/or forensic studies. While we’ll be happy accept almost any donation, the current items of highest interest include (alphabetically) samples of:

  • Armor
  • Concrete (walls/barriers)
  • Equipment (transformers,bushings, conductors, insulators)
  • Fencing (above simple chain-link)
