Videos
Several videos have been created by the project of the years and are available for use.

EPRI SS&R “Preparing to Switch Video Training Series – This is a series of eight short videos which can be accessed via the EPRI Learning Management System (LMS). Some of the topics covered include: Performing a Pre-Job Brief, Preparing to Switch, Performing a Walk Down, and Three-Part Communication.

Motor Operator Equipment Videos These short overview videos provide highlights and tips for devices that may not be frequently seen/used and can familiarize field workers before seeing the devices for the first time in the substation or switchyard.
- Changing Our View of Risk This is a recording of Nathan Boutwell’s keynote address at the 2020 EPRI Switching Safety and Reliability virtual Conference. He uses a case study to address the traditional way that utilities manage and respond to risk and suggests the need to change how we view and control hazards and risk, including how we educate their workforce on risk assessment as a core competency.
