Program 34 provides utilities with new knowledge, algorithms, analytical methodologies, and data vital for making good asset lifecycle management decisions amid challenges posed by aging infrastructure, financial constraints, and retiring expertise.

Program 35 offers a portfolio of tools and information focused on components (such as conductors, insulators, switches, connectors, and structures) and system issues (such as lightning and grounding, line design, live working, transmission capacity, and high-voltage direct -current [HVDC] lines).

Program 36 intends to assist utilities in resolving challenges related to design, construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of underground transmission systems.

Program 37 is designed to address the challenges faced by substation asset owners and operators. A significant portion of substation equipment was installed many years ago and may be reaching the end of its service life.
